I'm reading "Everybody's Business" by Dany Assaf, Walid Hejazi, and Joe Manget. They talk about how innovation is approached differently in the US and Canada. In the US, people say "yes" to new ideas and require a business case to reject them. In Canada, it's the opposite; people say "no" first and then need a business case to consider the idea. This makes me think about how we individually react to new ideas. Do we tend to say "no" by default?
